A Boy :)

This is a story about me when I was 8 years old.

A boy came home from school with a drawing he'd made in class. He danced with joy into the kitchen, where his mother was preparing dinner.

"Mama, see this!", he said and waving the drawing to his mother.

His mother never looked up.

"What?" his mother said, arranging the plates and glasses.

"See this, Mama!" he excitedly told her, waving the drawing.

"What???", the mother said, pouring orange juice into glasses.

"Mama, you're not listening."

"Yes I am, son."

"Mama, you're not listening with your eyes", the boy said and left the kitchen quickly.

So, what do you feel if you are in that boy's situation?
Anyway, thanks for reading guys! :) Goodnight!

  1. your mum was kinda busy with her work to prepare your lunch/dinner...
but in reality, she cannot treat her non-matured son liked that actually..she should stop from her work and give a full attention towards him in order to make him always happy and encourage to make it better. :D
sorry, there are some grammatical errors in my writing. :D
    btw, nice bed-time story.HAAHA

  2. Now this is what we call of a story from one point of view only. Maybe the mother was sick (or etc.) but still was preparing dinner for his son that's why she couldn't respond much.

    But oh, nice one.

  3. An eight years old boy still can't think properly . maybe the boy did not understand his mother's situation . but she should at least glance for a while at her son because little kid needs attention :)
